WHAT WE STAND FOR
Creating Lasting Change Across Our Community
For over 70 years, Rotary Club of Pondicherry has united professionals and volunteers to serve communities through education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, environmental sustainability, and humanitarian service. Every initiative reflects our commitment to “Service Above Self.”

Women's Empowerment
Through Project SELVI, we provide vocational tailoring training to more than 150 women and young girls every year, helping them achieve financial independence and sustainable livelihoods.
Healthcare & Medical Service
From blood donation camps to medical outreach and rehabilitation support through CNDCRC, we are committed to improving health and wellbeing across our community.
Education & Youth Development
We support students through educational initiatives, scholarships, mentoring programs, and youth leadership activities that inspire future community leaders.
Community Welfare
Our Working Women's Hostel has provided safe and affordable accommodation for working women and students since 1987, supporting dignity, security, and opportunity.
Environment & Sustainability
Tree plantation drives and environmental awareness campaigns help us build greener neighbourhoods and encourage responsible community action.
Fellowship & Leadership
Rotary brings together leaders, professionals, and volunteers who believe in creating positive change through collaboration, integrity, and service.

What Guides Us
Our Club Prayer & The Four-Way Test
Club Prayer
O God, bless us all
As we gather in fellowship,
May we strengthen the bonds of friendship,
Foster peace, goodwill, and understanding,
And be guided always by Rotary's noble ideal of
“Service Above Self.”
The Four-Way Test
Of the things we think, say, or do:
1. Is it the Truth?
2. Is it Fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships?
4. Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?
